FOREWORD

Modi Operandi 11 presents ‘ The Office for Digital Oblivion’, a project that builds on the concept of the ‘Zone’ and re-grounds discourse on information technologies and the realm of the digital through engagement with its immediate material conditions and operations. With that, it puts forward new approaches to conceive of infrastructural systems, transgressing purely technocratic dogmas and proposes new ways of thinking, worlding and becoming-together in the Anthropocene. In the publication, Reinhardt’s project is ‘framed’ by the contributions of scholars familiar with the topics raised.
