Sensing technology to sensing technology: As the intrinsic relationship between theory, analysis and design will be addressed in each publication, the ‘theory’ part explains the terms and concepts underlying the project. Through this theoretical elaboration, the terminology that is central to the project (namely the Critical Zone, sensing technology, human body, desiring machine, bachelor machine and body without organ) is discussed and expanded upon. In this part, the theoretical relationships that conceptually ground and frame the project are made explicit.
