Critical Zone Sensor

As the intrinsic relationship between theory, analysis and design will be addressed in each publication, the ‘design’ part will present the architectural intervention proposal, which is based on the theoretical premises and the (in)direct result of the findings and insights the spatial analysis offered. The several design principles, namely, the notion of self-sufficiency, the project as a sensing machine, the fold, and the project as a sensory extension, emerged from the previous analysis of program, context and intention.
