FOREWORD

Modi Operandi 10 presents ‘The Landscape Post-Mortem’, a project across a vast mining landscape in Turkey‘s Çanakkale region by architect Taha Barazy. The project consists of five intervention proposals, based on Indeterminacy as method, and intending to offer the post-mortem landscape an architectural ‘ritual of grief‘. In the publication, Barazy’s project is ‘framed’ by the contributions of scholars familiar with the topics raised.
