Modi Operandi 09 presents ‘Surfaces at Large and The Meanness of Measure’, a project that finds its fascination in an ontological understanding of the surface as a textured and ever-moving phenomenon, escaping the endless pursuit of precision in the idea of measures, by architect Christopher Clarkson. In the publication, Clarkson’s project is ‘framed’ by the contributions of scholars familiar with the topics raised.
